23 dollars and some change for two people
Yes they do
Ole Time Country Buffet has very good food at i reasonable price
Should be, my neighbor goes every day
Yed
For 3 people we spent roughly between 35-40$
If I remember correctly, right around $10. Well worth it!
The tomatoes are NOT cut up properly for elderly folks same with onions. My mom has Parkinson's disease and not able to do this for herself and she hates for us to have to interrupt our meal to help her.
You know you are in trouble if a local tells you that this is the "best" option in town for a sit down lunch. Either they don't get out much or there isn't anything else other than the fast food chains, which there are plenty of.Having our expectation tamed, the place didn't disappoint nor surprise. It was a solid southern style buffet with plenty of options and plenty of people, ensuring a constant supply of cooked food. They had most southern staples, and bbq items as well. The most notable item was the cheese biscuits, which were excellent. My wife and I were pleasantly surprised about them. Their dessert selection was poor and mostly sugary pudding stuff, only one coconut cake, which was mostly whipped cream anyways. The place was not clean in general; the waitresses barely kept up with the flow of people coming and going. We waited awhile to get her attention for a refill. If you are looking for a place to fill up yo belly, it will satisfy you.
This was a very good buffet. The only thing was that the sweet tea wasn't the best. Would I eat there again? Yes. Would I recommend? Yes.
This location was a total disappointment. None of the food was fresh. The bread was hard as brick. I ordered a half tea half lemonade, it was horrible. So I asked for lemonade only, it was worse. I finally asked for just sweet tea. My waitress informed me the lemonade was sugarless. Terrible visit. I won't be visiting this location again..
I am glad that this restaurant is located in Douglas Ga instead of my hometown, for if it was, I would weigh 300 pounds. Truly, this establishment is head and shoulders above any comparable buffet I have ever eaten at. Golden Corral take notice. They are everything you are not. It is rare that I can eat there but I will travel way out of my way to do so. Thank You and your staff for a job well done.
Food was cold (I guess that's what you get an hour b4 you close). Waitress wasn't enforcing the distance rule, you had signs on tables but this one family of 7 came in and set next to my cousin and I and waitress didn't make them move. I was visiting from Boynton Beach, FL and have been here numerous times but this was the worst....
1st visit and I loved everything about this place, staff extra friendly.
This place was very clean the customer service was awesome the food was amazing loved everything
This was my first and last time eating there. Flys everywhere bugs on the tables. Food was cold the only good thing was the drinks. Spoke with one of the staff and she said the manager won’t do anything about the fly problem.
They went up on the price and the food was cold if I pay for my food with that price with times like this I want it hot!!!!
Good , spent a week here in Douglas I like old times
Big variety! Always start with salad bar, everything has been fresh. At the hot bar, thy are aways keeping food full and is never been cold. Husband loves the blueberry cobbler with ice cream. The waitresses have always been friendly and attentive. Just needs a lil more detailed cleaning on the windows (ceils)and carpet.
Always eat to almost pop great home cooking
Best food around, love this place, country cookinh, sweet ice tea
PLEASE READ BEFORE EATING HERE!! This place doesn't even deserve that one star. Nasty recooked food from the prior day, flys, and slugs not to mention the employees aren't wearing face covering like they should and one just tested POSITIVE for the virus so beware! They are not taking precautions and are probably the reason the Coronavirus is getting spread in Douglas
Service is lacking. Food is just sorta slung together. Steak is over cooked big time and put in some kind of sauce on the buffet. Terrible taste. The batter on the fried shrimp falls off. Veggie selection is limited to mostly corn and green beans and mashed potatoes. Salad bar too small and nothing like the ones in other ole times. I asked the cook for a piece of steak off the grill and he didnt provide any. He had a nasty attitude. This ole times is nothing like most others.
Great place for buffet. And also very wholesome and welcoming for any family.
Friendly Service, Professional and Clean
I have been at times and it is wonderful. And I have also been at times when it isn't as much. But, overall it is good food and usually friendly service. Also, for me it is a little pricey. Buffet for 4 adults, 2 drinks (others had waters), and 2 children, it was about $73 plus tip.
You can find just about anything you want to eat here. Wish getting your drinks were as easy. Great food service not so much.
I like this place. The buffet is always fresh and they are constantly replacing anything that is empty or low. Its about 11 bucks for buffet, all you can eat and a soda. The waitress was super friendly and kept our drinks filled and table clean. They had a big selection of desserts too and a soft serve ice cream machine with cones. Id deff go back
Good food,good service
The food was really good. Good variety. Waitress could use some training on people skills. You watch your table to see what is needed. Our waitress had issues keeping drinks refilled. Our party of 10 was looked at by 2 different men from the kitchen while we were eating. They took the time to leave the kitchen to see how far we were in our meal. Started smelling cleaning supplies I asked what time is it It was only 8 pm. Your sign states closing at 9. 12 people came to the door that was locked at 8. If your sign says 9 then all the food should not be removed at 8 with the door locked.
The food is always fresh and never a shortage of meats, veggies and desserts. The staff is always courteous and kind!
Foods delicious. Smilng and friendly service.
The food is good. And great stuff.
Awful food. Nasty place. Should be shut down.lousy service. Messy food lines/ buffet area
Loved the pigs feet and chitlins. Haven't had them in years!
Approximately 200 miles Below Atlanta Georgia stop by the "Old Times Country Buffet"!Down home cookin! This food is the real deal! Get there early, all you can eat right there on HWY 441Google It for more locations!
Excellent country cooking. The best fried catfish, seasoned vegetables and sweet tea I've tasted in years.
Saturday afternoon...not much variety on the bar...pulled pork and chicken...grill closed cooking for the 4 o'clock people...it was 3...and wouldn't allow us to get any. Food was ok..but it was dirty.
very good food. recommend I'm here right now. for my mom
great place to sit and dine. all you can eat
As we walked in a hour til closing there was small pieces of food and trash on the floor, flies everywhere and the waitress wasn't as attentive as she should have been. Worst Ole Times I been too! I will not be eating there again. You know the flies were landing on the cold bar (salad bar) but no one seem to notice that. Someone needs to report this restaurant and fast! It's going to make someone sick!
Our first time here and was not a bad experience/ The first thing we noted was after paying no one tells you what to do. Most places you wait to have someone seat you but after standing there a few minutes we finally figured out we just go pick a table and get going. Next thing we figured out was we were suppose to grab our silverware from the front by the cashiers so we had to go back to get all that. Just a suggestion...a little instruction for the first time visitor would be helpful. Now the there was a fairly good variety of food, most of which was not bad at all. We enjoyed ourselves overall and the food was worth the price. The employees seemed to do a pretty good job keeping drinks filled and food put out but overall friendliness ( enjoying their job maybe ) seemed a bit lacking. Overall though they did do their jobs well so no real complaints there.Overall a pleasant experience with good food and a pretty clean environment so will be happy to go back again.
Always good food. Always good people. Pat ONeal knows how to treat his customers and keep them coming back. Five stars Guys! Great job!
good selection, good food, good staff, reasonable price, no complaints
Great selection... Wonderful service... Not to badly priced
The people were friendly. The service was good. The prices were comparable to other Sunday buffets. But the food, outstanding!
Every time we go there the restrooms are not dirty but filthy the waitress definitely should not be waitressing she is rude doesn't reply to you when you ask a question medium brown hair skinny i don't know her name because she don't never answer she always looks mad i only gave it a two star for the taste of the food it's a hit and miss definitely could use some improvement or a health inspection
The food was nice and hot and the service was polite, helpful and this place has alright price.
Best place to eat for some good ole country cooking 😁😁
I loved the food and the service was good
Ole Times Country Buffet offers a delicious selection of southern styled "soul" food. Everything from fried chicken, pork chops, fried fish and occasionally shrimp, to greens, mac n cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans.. All of that, plus a salad bar with fruits and veggies. And a dessert bar with cookies, brownies, puddings, and an ice cream machine. The customer service is great and the wait time isn't too bad except maybe the weekend nights and Sunday afternoon. Overall great food and service.
I have never eaten at a restaurant and been approached by a manager about a tip while I am still sitting. I know this is a buffet, so it's somewhat self serve. I guess the waitress we had thought that meant we should clear the extra used plates, and refill our own drinks . THE TIPS I HAVE FOR THE MANAGER AND WAITRESS ARE: FIRST DON'T EVER DEMAND ATIP, EARN IT. AS FOR THE MANAGER OBVIOUSLY HE'S CHOSEN THE WRONG PROFESSION, TRY BOUNCER
Very clean place and the food was great.
Me and my friend are here for lunch. We were served by staff due to covid 19. Staff friendly and observant. Food choices weren't abundant but very tasty.
Similar to a golden corral, not quite the variety but decent food at a good price. Discounts for seniors and military. Plus its here in Douglas.
Pricey but good selection of country cooking ribs were tender and tasty.
The cleanliness of the facility was not up to par and the Manager is not managing it as he should. The greens were not clean, as the juice of the greens were a very dark juice, which indicated they were not cleaned appropriately. The floors were dirty and food all on it; it was not a good experience today. They need a caring management team in there and not only be concerned about collecting a high dollar. A clean/decent facility and food are hand holders. Hire a new caring team is my suggestion.
